NHS Gloucestershire names Cheltenham & Gloucester Samaritans as joint Charities of the Year 2010

Cheltenham and Gloucester Samaritans were delighted to be adopted jointly as NHS Gloucestershire's Charity of the Year from December 2009 to the end of November 2010.
Employees of NHS Gloucestershire are being encouraged to support our branches through Pennies from Heaven.

Pennies for Heaven arranges a simple change to an organisations payroll system, gross salaries are rounded down to the nearest pound on a monthly basis and the difference is gift aided to charity. The most anyone can give a month is £0.99 or £11.88 p.a (£15.20 with Gift Aid) with an average of £6.00 (£7.68 with Gift Aid).

Also employees are being encouraged to make donations through JustGiving and to take part in fundraising and sponsored events, for which donor pages can be created on JustGiving.
