Raising a glass for Samaritans
On Friday 6 March the Cheltenham Amateur Winemakers held a Wine & Cheese evening at Victoria House, Cheltenham, where guests were able to sample a wide range of high quality homemade wines.
The evening raised over £300 for Samaritans.
Graham Tandy, Publicity Officer for Cheltenham & District Samaritans, said “It was a wonderful evening and we were most grateful to the Cheltenham Amateur Winemakers for holding this fundraising event for us”.
It costs over £40,000 a year to run the Cheltenham & district branch and last year they received more than 40,000 contacts.
