PRESS RELEASE

Mayor's Charity Appeal

6 April 2010

There are only six weeks now until the end of Lloyd Surgenor's mayoral year and there are still a number of events taking place to raise funds for his chosen charities ( Cheltenham Alzheimer's Society, Cheltenham Samaritans, Maggie's Cotswolds and the Cheltenham Sea Cadets). Lloyd hopes that members of the public will support these events to boost his mayoral charity fund.

Cheltenham Samaritans are holding a coffee morning on Friday 9 April at Sacred Hearts Church Hall in Moorend Road between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Cakes, books and much more will be on sale in the hall. Supporters of each of the above charities are invited to attend this event.
