With your help we can reduce the number of deaths by suicide

Cheltenham Samaritans provides emotional support to more than 40,000 callers every year. To provide this help to the distressed, desperate and suicidal costs over £40,000 per year and requires the generously given time of more than 120 volunteers.

There are many ways in which you might help us:

Can you provide financial support?

There are three easy ways in which you can make a difference by donating money to Cheltenham Samaritans. You can:

• setup a regular donation
• make a single donation or
• leave a legacy.

Can you spare us some of your time and skills?

We can provide you with opportunities to use your skills to the benefit of our callers. You can make a difference by:

• becoming a listening volunteer
• becoming a support volunteer
• running an event or
• helping with street collections.

Can you promote our services?

You can make a difference by raising awareness of our service by:

• displaying our posters & pamphlets in appropriate places
• inviting our volunteers to give a talk or
• providing links to this website.

Go to a concert

Lifting the Blues is a concert being held on Friday 30th September 2011 at 7.30pm in the Bacon Theatre, Cheltenham. It presents an evening of fantastic lady blues singers, including Connie Lush, Diane Charlemagne and Kyla Brox, and all proceeds will be donated to the branch.
