VOLUNTEER
Information Sessions
To find out more about becoming a Samaritan Volunteer come along to one of our Information Sessions. These informal events are held every four weeks or so and last about 90 minutes and take place at the branch.
They provide:
- an overview of how the branch works,
- a great opportunity to meet existing Samaritan Volunteers, find out why they do it and what they get out of being a volunteer,
- find out what's in it for you
and they finish off with what is usually a lively question and answer session!
Should you decide you would like to be a 'listening volunteer' you will have the opportunity to book in for an interview, which will be arranged for a later date, and given an application form to complete and return (at interview).
For those who decide they would prefer to support our fundraising team or help us in other ways there will be an opportunity to leave your contact details so that we can get in touch with you after the event to discuss how and when you can support Cheltenham Samaritans.
Information Sessions will be held on
- Monday 6th September 2010 at 7.30pm
- Sunday 10th October 2010 at 2.30pm
- Wednesday 3rd November 2010 at 7.30pm
